Savage model 12 custom rebarrelling

After suffering accuracy loss from throat erosion, the owner of this rifle wanted the best he could get. After the receiver was trued and bolt lug engagement checked, this barrel was turned up and fitted using precision techniques. As there is a straight cut crown, a custom eurethane protector was manufactured to protect from damage. The first target shows a couple of five shot 100m groups during load testing and the the second target shows the first three round 300m group.
